Midnight snack

Entry for : Week 126

She sits in the moon and surveys the land, learning from all she sees and hears. Her gaze falls on two hungry chipmunks searching for food, their bellies empty and grumbling … they look up to the stars and beg for food hoping their small voices would be heard by the majesties of the sky … her heart breaks at the sight of the two preying creatures and drops acorns for them knowing they will never know that she had given them their wish.
