Sunrise over Alishan

We woke up at about 5am to walk up a few million stairs to see the sunrise over Alishan ... we were meant to take the train but we ended up walking up millions of stairs to get there instead ... very good exercise just to do more exercise

Well to the point - the sunrise over Alishan is one of the biggest tourist attractions in Taiwan ... why? Well it is magnificent ... the low clouds roll in from beneath ... there are usually clouds above that glow in the sunrise ... and the mountains in the background look sublimely peaceful. The grass in front adds such a soft touch to the scene.

Alishan is a really beautiful place and I highly recommend you go there if you ever visit Taiwan
